First thoughts… Theres a lot of pieces. Pretty overwhelming at first, but I later found out most of the stuff they give you is actually included just in case you need it.
At first glance the instructions make no sense. But then after about five minutes of starring at the Innofader and circuit boards something clicked; the instructions suddenly made sense, and I realized how incredibly easy it was to install the Innofader Pro.
I installed the Innofader with a homie at his place, when I got home to test it out I noticed there were a couple problems.
For starters the crossfader was in reverse (hamster) , did I install it backwards?? I could have just left the reverse button on all the time, but its a quick fix. The fader was completely messed up; Channel one could always be heard no matter where the fader was, and channel two was much sharper than channel one.
What did I do wrong?
- Crossfader was inserted into the mixer backwards.
- I forgot to remove the x/y jumper.
Installation Round 2
- The Innofader was inserted facing the correct direction this time. Now it should no longer be in hamster mode.
- I removed the x/y jumper. this should fix why one side was much sharper than the other.
Lets test it out
